Jackie Tohn - Strange song choice - A Little Less Conversation” by Elvis Presley - Skinny, brunette female with really shiny jet black pants - Not Impressed. - 1-866- 436-5701

Ricky Braddy - White Guy with spikey hair, sorta - Did a Leon Russel Song, A Song For You - Interesting Song Choice - Sounded Good - 1-866- 436- 5702

Alexis Grace - White, blonde w/ pink highlights, black dressed, 21 year old female doing an Aretha Franklin song, Never Loved a Man - The Gurl can Sing, very soulful. Blew the judges away. 1-866- 436-5703

Brent Keith - 29 year old white male, worked in a lumber store - Hicktown - song choice - I think he blew it, a rocking country song. Simon said it was a forgettable song. I would tend to agree, 1-866- 436-5704

Stevie Wright - 1-866- 436-5705 - You belong to me by Taylor Swift - White Brunette teen lady - Started out very quiet, lost the beat a couple of times, Sounded like she wasn't sure of the words - Ouch!

Anoop Desai - 1-866- 436-5706 - Song Choice: Angel of mine - 22 year old Dark Haired Male - Sung very softly, had some nice runs vocally, Strange Ending - The Judges thought he was off, Simon Thought it was too serious for someone so young.

Casy Carelson - 1-866- 436-5707 - Every Little Thing She Does is Magic by the Police - 20 year old brunette female - She sang softly to begin with also, off key at times, Didn't project at all, sad comparison to the original song. Yikes! Kinda like a train wreck.

Michael Sarver - 27 year old male, short blondish hair, worked in The Oilfields - 1-866- 436-5708 - Song Choice: I don't want to be - Well. he got into this song, but he didn't project much. He did alright. Mixed reviews from the Judges.

Anne Marie Boskovich - 1-866- 436-5709 - Female, 22 year old brunette, slender - Song Choice: Natural Woman by Aretha Franklin - She also started out softly, lost the key a couple of times, Odd Ending. Judges weren't impressed.

Stephen Fowler - 1-866- 436-5710 - Rock With You by Michael Jackson - 26 year old male, black Musician that forgot the words During Hollywood week - Again, started out so softly. Lost the beat a few times, He's trying, but He isn't Michael Jackson. Strange song in my book.

Tatiana Del Toro - 1-866- 436-5711 - Another Brunette white, Female (they all look the same, so far) 24 year old Potra Rican - I'm sending all my love to you by Whitney Houston - Again, starts out very soft, very reserved. Off key a few times, She's trying to project her voice, just not quite there, though. It was alright.

Danny Gokey - 1-866- 436-5712 - The last one, Finally. 28 year old white male who's wife had passed away a month before trying out. Hero By Mariah Whitney. He also is signing reserved. Getting stronger as the song goes along. Good Job. The women judges liked it. Randy Liked it. Simon called him a good singer.

All in all, a forgettable Night on American Idol I'm sure it will get better.

The commercial with the guy that thinks a rock Hard Avocado with the seed intact, the skin still on, and a blender - what if there is some one out there that thinks that his behavior is just fine and sees nothing wrong with what he is trying to do?


And Why in Gods name did they bring this inane commercial back to the Air Waves?

I have to make this on the sly. I don't want my wife to find this as I work on it. I was kind of told unofficially that I wasn't to use her conversations on the Internet anymore since I posted about her furry dream a while back. Actually she spelled it out to me in no uncertain manner, But I choose to remember it as a soso chewing out

Just a few Minutes ago: Sound of a phone is ringing.

My wife: "Is that you son?"

Son, Layed out on the couch, watching TV under the swampcooler. "What?"

Wife: "Is that your Phone ringing?"

Son: "That's on the TV."

Wife: "It sounded like it was in the living room."

Me: "Where do you think we have the TV at?" (It's in the Living Room.)

Wife: "But It sounded like the phone was ringing right there, not on the TV."




Me: "Oh, I remember when My wife was sane."

Wife: "It didn't sound like it was on the TV."

Son: "It didn't even sound like my phone."

Me: "Actually, we moved the TV into the Bedroom."

Wife: "Oh, Shut Up."

When it comes to matters such as these below, But I am most certainly excited about the first one and so so excited about the second:

US Consumers Finally Starting To Accept HDTVs Into Their Lives

"There is a bit of a strange phenomenon taking place right now when it comes to HDTV. According to a recent survey conducted by ABI Research, 41% of television owners have at least one HDTV in their house. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as the HDTV technology is clearly superior to non-HDTV televisions. The strange part is that only 56% of people with an HDTV are subscribing to HD programming packages.

Perhaps this isn’t as strange as it seems on the surface. The general assumption about people purchasing HDTVs is that they really value their television watching experience and, therefore, want the best type of television in their homes. Under this line of thinking, it only makes sense that they would also have HDTV programming. In reality, however, it seems that many people are just deciding to upgrade to the HDTV in preparation for the switchover to digital or perhaps they just want to purchase the better television options when shopping for a new television. Another possibility is that some of the buyers didn’t realize they needed to obtain HDTV programming in order to enjoy their HDTV.

All-in-all, the people at ABI Research have concluded that the overall interest in HDTV is finally rising in the United States. This is a switch in the trend, as previous years showed that US consumers had actually been losing interest in HDTVs. Other countries, such as South Korea and France, on the other hand, had been showing steadily increasing interest in HDTVs over the past few years.

A survey conducted by the Consumer Electronics Association also showed that consumers were becoming increasingly interested in HDTVs. In fact, when parents were polled on the their top holiday gift wishes, their first choice was “peace and happiness,” their second choice was for a computer and their third choice was for a big screen TV. Obviously, a big screen television doesn’t actually have to be an HDTV, but the two generally do go hand in hand. It’s good to see that American consumers are finally coming around!"

Then on the same website there is this:

I have discovered that Infranview works best for me in getting my photo collection moved about on my computer. You select the photos you want to move, hit F7, select the new folder and wallah! Beats windows all to heck in this process. Not one duplicate made.

Found another very bad case of customer service. I shant name the company, only it has been a week since it happened and I have mellowed considerably since then. I had my hands full with items I had discovered at a great price in this store. I went to the front to locate someone to help me get a basket, for I knew they were out side the store, cause I had shopped there repeatedly and saw them that day when I came into the store.I found a brunette, a new girl, asked her about a basket. She walked to the front door, said to me, "They are out here" and turned around and left me hanging. Apparently, somehow with my arms full of merchandise, I was to walk out front and get my own basket. She wasn't carrying anything, she was about 8 feet from the damn baskets, but couldn't grab me one. I was so ticked off, I went back into the store proper, throwing items as I went back onto shelves and found my wife. She also had her hands full. We left the store with out buying a thing. I was livid when I left there, my wife wondering why we were leaving. Unbelievable!

I am really starting to enjoy the NASA channel, especially when they have something going on in space. The pictures are sometimes breathtaking.

I have barely made it into the A's. This site to me is an actual goldmine. I love all things Alfred Hitchcock, (the director) and this site houses full episodes of not one but two of his TV programs.


I had not even heard of VEOH, but I have a feeling I am going to get to know it a whole lot better.

As I read my last post about what happened when I was last unemployed and had way too much time on my hands.
9 - 11 Happened.
There I was at home, being woken up by my wife very early in the morning, her saying something about a fire or being attacked in New York. I needed to wake up and see this. I stared at the TV screen just as the second plane plowed into the side of the building and the smoke from the first hit was seen in the background.
I am sure I uttered an obscenity as my mind tried to comprehend what it was that I was seeing with my eyes. I turned to my wife and tried to come up with a question and she started to tell me what had been going on in the half an hour she had been awake, herself trying to comprehend what it was that was happening.
I spent the next few weeks glued to my TV, watching as others did the same, tried to figure out what took place that fateful day. Watched as they tried to put a good chunk of New York back together again.
I for one, shall never forget that day, horror filled. Unbelievable. Hoping and praying that none of us will forget.
